Is the SUSy stereotactic system compatible with the inomed target point simulator?

The SUSy stereotactic system is compatible with the inomed target point simulator. The combination with the inomed target point simulator increases safety in use. All patient-specific settings can be checked exactly before the intervention is started on the patients.

It is possible to choose different mounting positions?

The SUSy stereotactic system can be mounted on the head ring in both lateral and anterior-posterior positions. It can also be mounted rotated by 180°.

When was the SUSy stereotactic system launched and where did the first clinical application take place?

The launch event for the SUSy stereotactic system took place in September 2023 as part of the ESSFN Congress in Stockholm (Sweden). The first clinical application of SUSy was at the University Medical Center Freiburg as part of an sEEG electrode implantation by PD Dr. Peter C. Reinacher. Further applications in other centres (DBS, thalamotomies) in other centres followed.

Which head ring units is the SUSy stereotactic system compatible with?
