Deep brain stimulation


Deep brain stimulation (DBS) is a neurosurgical treatment option used for a range of neurological diseases, in particular Parkinson’s disease, but also for dystonia and tremor. The aim of the treatment is to effectively relieve symptoms such as tremor, stiffness and movement restrictions.
