At inomed, patient safety is at the forefront of what we do. We believe that the product should fit the patient. That’s why we’ve expanded the ALM portfolio to include a smaller size ID 6 mm tube for stress-free nerve monitoring of smaller airways.

Already used around the world for many successful years, this premium electrode tube has now been optimised to further improve signal reliability. Conventional low-volume manufacturing of stereotactic systems is both complex and costly and limited when it comes to realising geometrically highly sophisticated component designs.

Together with Fraunhofer IPA, we explored new manufacturing approaches within a ZIM-funded collaboration project and laid the foundation for our stereotactic frame SUSy. Lightweight and highly functional components were successfully developed using fibre-reinforced composite materials with a high-performance thermoplastic matrix. This innovative approach enabled significant design improvements while maintaining the precision and stability of the frame system.

The project demonstrates how advanced materials and collaborative innovation can help shape the future of neurosurgery.

Advancing the future of intraoperative neuromonitoring 🔍

We're excited to introduce ‘INDEX’, our latest research project at inomed.

Together with the Department of Neurosurgery at the LMU University Hospital Munich, we are collecting and analysing data to evaluate signal processing algorithms and identify opportunities to improve signal quality and processing efficiency.

The project aims to optimise IONM measurement and stimulation parameters and provide evidence-based recommendations for clinical users. We are proud that INDEX is funded by the ZIM programme (Central Innovation Programme for SMEs).

Over the past three weeks, inomed took part in STADTRADELN, a nationwide cycling campaign that encourages sustainable mobility and climate-friendly commuting.

Together, our 50 cyclists covered an impressive 11,923 km, contributing to a healthier environment while staying active and connected as a team. Along the way, we shared many great moments together, from an ice cream meet-up to an after-work cycling tour to Emmendingen Castle.🏰🍦
