RF Thermo Probes


A major advantage of the radiofrequency thermolesion is the opportunity to be able to perform high-precision procedures with very delicate instruments. The instrument dimensions are determined by the indication and the area of application. inomed offers users a broad range of the most diverse electrodes and cannula systems. Tailor-made designs for specific requirements are available on request.

RF cannula are connected to the lesion generator together with temperature controlled electrodes. As the cannula shaft is coated, only the uncoated tip is leading and can be used for impedance measurement, stimulation or high frequency thermo coagulation. A temperature sensor in the electrode tip enable a temperature controlled high frequency heating.
