Docubox

Docubox is a thermal printer with EMG evaluating electronics, which complements the two channel nerve monitors CLEO and Neurosign 100.

Function

During the intervention, the path of the nerve is localised using electrical stimulation and acoustic EMG control. After a precise localisation, the initial documentation is performed very easily by pressing the footswitch or the “Print” key. The first curve is printed. The printout is the averaged signal of one of the last stimulation responses. The number of the average determinations can be varied. Then any further stimulation sequences can take place, in particular at the end of the operation, a final stimulation can be performed e.g. of the vagus nerve. Thus, it can be demonstrated that the entire nerve pathway is still intact. This process can be repeated as often as required. Two curves are printed per sheet. Handling and operation are very simple. The thermal printer is maintenance free.

The Docubox II can be connected to all nerve monitors of the types CLEO and Neurosign 100!

Applications

The Docubox II has been designed to display and document muscle action potentials during electrical stimulation of motor nerves. Motor nerve function can be verified and documented during or after the surgical intervention. The document can be archived in the patient’s file. The operation via foot pedal enables the surgeon to use it from a sterile area.
