RF-cannulas

Principles

Inomed RF-cannulas are used together with corresponding thermocontrolled electrodes. They can be connected to any lesion generator.

The cannulas have an insulated shaft except the tip and are used for thermocoagulation and electrical stimulation.

For lesioning, the bare tip is heated up by means of the high frequency current to a predictable temperature.

Indications

inomed RF-cannulas are specially designed for use during radiofrequency lesioning together with radiofrequency lesion generators and electrical stimulators:

o Postdiscectomie syndrome
o Spinal cord conditioned pain
o Trigeminal neuralgia (TIC douloureux)
o Sympathetic conditioned pain

and others.
