Pain Treatment

Continuous pain is a burden that often leads to a series of derivative reactions such as muscle tensions, contractions and hardening. Patients adopt relieving positions and burden healthy structures. A vicious circle begins that should be broken. After a critical, clear diagnostic evaluation, the therapist may choose between various therapies. Most patients can be helped with a combination of non invasive therapies.

Interventional pain treatment uses minimal invasive procedures to reduce pain durably with selective interruptions or modifications of the pain conduction in the corresponding nerve paths. This occurs either with targeted medicine injections or interruptions of the pain conduction with a neurodestructive procedure. Percutaneous minimally invasive procedures are preferred. Depending on the method, electrodes or catheters are inserted under visual control and controlled with electrical stimulation:

The nerve areas responsible for the motor and sensitivity activities are unaffected!
