inomed Medizintechnik GmbH, Teningen near
Freiburg (Germany), was founded in 1991 by Rudi Mattmueller and Dieter Mussler. The company, with now over 85 employees, develops and manufactures leading biomedical instruments and devices for diagnostic and therapy.
 

inomed products are used for intraoperative monitoring of neurological functions in order to increase the safety during critical surgical interventions. They allow to prevent any damage of the nerve functions, especially during neurosurgical interventions in the brain and at the spinal cord and also during operations in general surgery such as thyroid surgery or during facial and parotid surgery.

The products help the surgeon to identify nerve structures and monitor continuously their functions.

Special target devices and instruments have been developed for stereotactic interventions at the brain. They constitute the basis for minimal invasive tissue removal or for use of special brain pacemaker electrodes during Parkison therapy. inomed product range is completed with instruments and devices for pain treatment.

inomed is also a long-time sales partner of other manufacturers and distributes innovative medical navigation systems and magnetic stimulators in Germany, France and Switzerland.
